Can you get car insurance without having a direct debit card or credit card?

    Yes, you can pay cash in the insurance office. You can either pay cash for the whole amount, or go in the office and make monthly payment.

    May I suggest calling several companies who have local offices as there can be a vast difference in the price as well as the service.

    Either you get one offline and pay cash but if you want the saving and choice that comes from getting one online you can get a prepaid card off the shops or even online.
    This one they’ll charge no fees when charging it via Direct Debit and it is a full Visa, you buy anywhere and there’s no extra fees.
