Dribbles asked:

My car insurance lapsed 2 days past the 30 day deadline in PA (Pennsylvania). I can either surrender the plates to the car for 3 months, or I can appeal at the Court of Common Pleas in my county, which will make an appeal to PENNDOT. Is there any hope of not having to turn my plates in? Are there any other alternatives?

I recommend you visit a local auto insurance agent to assist you. Since I live in Massachusetts I can’t recommend anyone in Pennsylvania, but here is an resource that can help you.

    Good Luck.
